Another driver ran a red as I was going through the intersection at about 45 miles per hour. Truck went airborne and rolled 5 times and eventually came to rest on driver side. Thank god my seat belt was on and I was alone. Oddly enough...none of the airbags deployed.

Wow...that's a helluva wreck. Glad you're okay, but I bet you will be sore for awhile.

That happened about 3:30 pm on Monday, there was no choice on whether to go to the ER or not... they loaded me up and hauled azz to Pardee. The ER sent me home about 9:30 that night after all ct's and ex-rays looked good. I wasn't near as sore the next day as I thought I would be.

I am having complications, not sure if related... I have blacked out twice since then. First one I regained conscious with my dog licking my face, went down face first (carpet burn on my face) no warning. Second time was this morning about 6:30 am, I fell backwards in to my nightstand... felt like I broke a vertebrae. My sixteen year old heard some kind of odd squeal or something from me, then a loud boom and came and found me... again absolutely no warning or memory of either fall. I'm going to see my PCP first thing Monday morning unless it happens again, then straight to the ER.

I thought I was fine, the doctors at Pardee said I was fine.

Don't wait, see a professional NOW! You could have a number of issues including swelling of the brain or a bleed.

Get another scan. Sounds like something in the brain that developed slowly. Could be a brain bleed. Might not wake up from your sleep next time. Don't eff around and find out.

Everybody's sentiments on this board are pretty much the same. Its your body's way of saying "Lets get a second opinion", listen to it.

Ya as an emt I would not wait on that. Two episodes like that a day after a major accident is grounds enough to go back to the hospital asap. Preferably a trauma hospital if you happen to have one in your area.

Get to a different ER quick like a bunny. My wife didn't when she was in an accident and ended up having a major concussion that was not properly diag'd by an urgent care doctor the following day.

An aside, the red light runner deserves a royal ass beating. Probably that jerk was on their phone
