As an FYI, Dove and Irish Spring along with a scrub brush doesn't get it off entirely. If I had blonde or grey hair I'd have to shave my head when I'm done. So...

Two Thumbs Up for Cosmoline's sticking power! I hope it works as well on my frame.

Replaced the McGard wheel locks that I did not want and don't need with standard lug nuts and got my truck into my tire shop for an alignment to get rid of the slight pull to the right it's had since I drove it off the lot in August.
I know it's covered under warranty but the dealership can't even inflate the tires right so I don't trust them for that.

Installed bed cover and bed mat, I think the bed mat weighs more than the mx4. I didn’t like seeing the silver paint once the bed rails were relocated so I used some black wrap vinyl I had. And yes I forgot to paint the brackets. Thanks to @truckalter for the bed cover.

Waited 8 weeks for this one! C4 overland bumper, Trd grille, r4t bumper caps. Couldn't of done it without the harbor freight lift table.

This plug brand has been around for years and is the best. If the formulas have not changed, I have used these to plug holes up to 3/8 of an inch in diameter perhaps larger but that work was 30 years ago. They also used to advertise that sidewalls could be plugged.

Finally got her sitting right. Bilstein 5100s with 3” lift, rear AAL, 33” Falken wildpeaks. Kept the stock wheels with spacers. We ended up taking that front flap off, hardly any rubbing. Rode great on the drive home on the highway but can’t wait to really test her out. If you are in the Tacoma area I highly recommend TSL Automotive Specialists, fair prices and honest work.

Flashbacks of a hospital operating room. Everything was blue. Maybe it was the anesthesia. Been there a couple times. Not fun.

The Leer cap was installed and the Bedrug put in place. Now I have a spot for a wet, muddy dog to ride again.
I like the cap and the install was great but maybe it's just me but I notice more road noise with it on. Granted, I only drove an hour or so with it on but I found I had to turn the sound system up a bit more to listen to my programs (podcasts). I'll probably try the swim noodle trick if I continue to be bothered by the noise to see if that alleviates the issue.
I've been reading a bunch of rusted frame threads here lately so I climbed underneath with a good flashlight to check my frame and whatnots under the truck. No sign of rust anywhere thankfully. The first 2 years of the trucks' life were spent in Nevada where even the water is as bone dry as the atmosphere. We moved to the Portland, OR area last year however where it's wetter than wet blanket. Luckily, snow is quite rare and they don't use salt on the roads so I think I'm good to go, as again, no rust spotted.
Next up are some sturdy ramps or jack stands. Despite having plenty of room to wiggle around under the truck, I still let my extreme claustrophobia get to me a couple of times and I had to scramble out of there to breathe more than once..... I had a bunch of older Leer.jpg cousins and uncles who delighted in sitting on my chest as a kid or dog-piling me while playing football. Anyhow, I need more room under there.
