Im so excited after 5 years of waiting I purchased the supercharged. After weeks of just recieving my title to the truck I go out and make a big purchase(either a dumb move or smart move...im happy) :D That was my plan all along after truck being paid. Now I got to find a dealer to give me best install quote either in Reno or Salt lake City since I live in between...waiting game now...

So.. I'm the opposite of mechanically inclined...What will the benefits of the supercharger be and do I need to start saving for one? :D

You definitly get more HP and TQ. I think its 304hp and 334 lb tq so a def increase. MPG is confusing some ppl on here saying better MPG with regular driving or lose MPG regardless of driving habits....So thats the only reason why I bought it was to confirm my suspicion :D

You should check out how much it would be at Street to Sand in Reno. If your willing to go somewhere other then the dealer. They also have a dyno!!

You probably can get better mileage with the SC, but only if you can keep it out of boost...which is not the point of buying the SC.

You actually get slightly better gas mileage running premium vs regular gas. Especially now that gas is getting more expensive, and the difference in price between grades getting slimmer, it only makes sense to run premium. Although, I cant say anything about getting better mileage with the SC on, good luck trying to keep your foot out of it for the first few thousand miles!

In Reno give Jim at Fulbeck Off Road a call if his shop cant do it he will steer you in the right direction of who to go to. Or you can give Ken at Reno Toyota in the service department a call he takes care of four vehicles for me and he is a straite shooter.
