What boat are you on, and where? Can't go wrong with steak and lobster. Strange that at one time lobsters were fed to servants and dogs because they were so cheap. If I ever win the lottery I'm gonna own a lobster boat.

We cruised on the Discovery Princess , Princess Cruise Lines. Went to the Mexican Riviera with stops in Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlán. My wife and I really like and enjoy cruising. I know it’s not for everyone but we love the life. Generally go on 2 cruises a year. Already have 2 scheduled for 2024. We always get a suite with a balcony and being a suite holder gets us lots of special perks and privileges. Next year we’re doing an Alaska cruise and a fall colors cruise along the Eastern seaboard and up to Canada and Nova Scotia. Been to Alaska previously and it’s gorgeous. My favorite are Caribbean cruises. I love the islands and the people there.

I had a pretty damn good day today, Went to Costco with my spouse for few essentials. (4 Cases if water for her, she drinks water like a fish) Came home and unloaded. Then off to Sam's club for a few more
goodies for the fridge. Took a nice nap, had dinner (Home made Albondigas) and then went for a 45 minute walk around the neighborhood. Watched a little boob tube, now I'm winding down with a JD and Ginger Ale
before hitting the sack. Life is good!

You will like Alaska. We have been on two of the Alaska cruises. It is worthwhile to do a land cruise as part of the trip.

Good morning. This is the weekend of changing plans. Last night we added another bar to the dinner last night. Sort of a senior's bar hopping, LOL. Today we are going dow to sit with my cousin and her husband at 1pm. Will probably not BBQ the chicken today. Off to the gym then install the door wiring harness in my son's F150.

:rofl: your wife and mine think alike Ken....

Nice birthday dinner Ken. Cruise ships have some good restaurants on board. We have taken 2 cruises and even the main dining room food was exceptionally better than what I had on my Med cruise on Uncle Sam's bill . Glad you had a good time.

Good morning all. Got home from our Costa Rica trip early Saturday morning, around 3am. Started feeling like crap on the flights home, spent all day Saturday drinking hot tea and bundled up in blankets on the couch. Feel a little better this morning, going to do a Covid test later but I think it's bronchitis as I get that easily.

We've thought about cruising but have never taken the plunge. When we first got married we were intrigued by the small inter island masted ships run by Barefoot Cruises in the Caribbean. Lately we've been talking about the Inland Passage and whale watching. But honestly, I doubt it will ever happen. We like driving and having our own schedule.
But your cruises sound fantastic. Mexico was once a great place to drive but the cruises probably make it safer now.

I was called a Whippersnapper by Grandpa.
Got up at 0300 and stopped my watch and listened to music by the fire.
CCR, Smokey, Otis, Jimi, CSN...damn I have good taste.

Checking stock tanks and enjoying the solitude.
