The sport access cab is what I originally wanted to get but I’ve only found 1 so far that’s getting build but the dealer told me it was already sold. I’m in the west coast “LA’’ area we hardly get anything access cab with 4wd.

I appreciate it bro, the dealer just called me back after a couple months. There’s a lunar rock one coming in tomorrow but he said there’s a $3000 market adjustment. I might just go for it at this point,

Installed some blacked out style head lights from Extreme Terrain. Who knows how long they will hold up but I prefer the look over stock.

Got this about 6 months ago but put the OR wheels on it, like the chrome with the grey! Upgraded from my 04’ taco, happy to be apart of the SR crew

Found a 2017 4cyl 4x4 mt dealers asking 24.426 for it, Truck has 87,535 miles on it. Can I get some opinions on this price? I know everything high right now but I’m not trying to get screwed no matter how bad I want the pick up.

It depends where you live but here that's a high price, but it’s also a manual. There aren’t as many manuals out there. If you can afford it, it’s always better to buy new but with production officially over it’d be harder to find what you want. If you can wait, I’d keep looking for one with lower miles.

Agree with the post above mine. I would wait if possible. If you decide to pull the trigger on this one at least look at the car fax and make sure it was well taken care of. Best of luck to you.

Wait for anther one. 2 weeks ago cargurus had a ton of 17s with manual for around 28k but with only 20k miles on them plus that white is a hit or miss

Gee... That seems steep, but the market is outta control still...

I purchased a brand new 2020 SR AC 4x4 i4 with convenience package, 5" steps, door edge guards, weather protection sills, and rubber floor mats back in 2020 for $27,500 otd. Those were pre-covid prices

I was looking to trade up for a brand new 2023 SR AC 4x4 i4 (basically same exact truck). They said it was about $35k otd.. I didn't haggle..

They were offering me $20k for my SR... It has 60k miles and has been maintained inside and out up and down.....

I'd say $24k for that truck is a lil steep man. At that price point I would actually be looking at a 2023... If you time it right you might be able to swing a good deal once the 4g Tacomas hit the lots...

I would also be looking for one that was unmolested... Between the grille and bull bar who knows what other modifications were made to this truck.... Mods are always good when you do them for your needs.......mods are often bad when they get done by someone else if they didn't use OEM parts.. I'd pass on that truck

I love my SR, it’s a 2019 V6 4x2. Living in Tennessee, we don’t get enough inclement weather to justify 4WD.

Going to keep the mods to a minimum until she’s paid off in a couple of years, will be grabbing new tires in the next couple of months though, as these are original with 40k miles on them. Keeping mostly everything as stock as possible for the foreseeable future because as it sits, I’m getting about 17-18 MPG in the city and upwards of 25 on the highway if I’m driving pappy-style.

    Glad to be here!

If you prefer a manual transmission buy it. 2017 is the last year for a MT SR. I have a 2017 SR MT 4X4 AC and love it ! .

I just got a keyless entry/remote start installed at a local auto accessory store for $550. 2 mile range, two way remote. 2018 v6 4x4.

Just throwing it out there for anybody tired of using a key to unlock. I was having issues with my lock freezing last year, and reached out just to see what the cost was expecting it to be quite a bit higher.

I'm sure there's cheaper options for handier folks than myself, but going from no fob to full on remote start... man, it feels good.
