It is definitely that lack of daylight I object to.

 

Yeah, all these years and I've never seen Crosby play live so that will be cool. Even if they are all the size of Legos

Also it will be the day after they play Vegas which I'm a little worried about .... Vegas is just steamrolling everyone this season. They just blanked Colorado 7-0 last night and CO is considered a Cup contender too this year. Will be interesting to see how Kings do against them on Wed

One of my favorite games I went to. Kings Penguins.
Had seats behind the net.

 

Nice, closest seats I've had were right behind the Kings bench against Seattle a couple years ago and we lost 6-1 lol. And being right behind the bench was really bad for seeing anything but the backs of the players and coaches.

 

I did finish up a 39 Ford today. Took me a whole week but one of the most fun to build.

Thanks, it was my first time dry brushing but it came out well. Basically dip the brush in the paint and then a couple passes on a paper towel to take most the paint out of the brush then gently brush on and the it'll catch the high points with what paint remains in the brush. After the calamity I had with the paint I figure I was able to make it work in the end.

 

It came out good, I like the patina look. Looks like something you'd see on Puddin's channel.

 

I always wanted to sit by the bench but I see how looking through the players can be annoying.
I got to sit next to the Detroit penalty box back in the late 90s. I got to sit next to Sergei Federov

 

Yeah I had to have my neck craned up to look at the jumbotron the entire game, or down at the coach's feet where their video screens are

 

Honestly, nose bleed tickets are the best if you want to watch the entire game.

 

I find it more work but at the same time to do the patina because your paint doesn't have to be perfect. That's the point. So if I had the paint issue I had before, I don't know if I could have recovered it back to pristine, but since I went patina, I just made it rustier and shitty and it doesn't hurt the overall end result

 

It covered up the wrinkled paint damn well. I've had that reaction happen a couple times with mismatched brand clears and paints before, last time it cost me $150 to have a wheel sandblasted again.

 

That sucks.
