How much have you used it?

I've used mine quite a bit, including in dig out mode.
I love mine, and so far it's held up really well.
I'm not sure we even have the same shovel now......

Yes sure did. Gave it a whirl for just about a year so I knew it well. I have no regrets switching to OTT.

I went from OEM to an OTT tune. I was on the fence initially between KDMax and OTT.
From what I've heard from previous KDMax tune owners I feel I made the correct decision.

Put it up for sale but this site won't let me post the ad since I don't have 50 posts. Sounds rather arbitrary. I'm sure there's a good reason, but still, maybe I just post some 50 stupid random posts to get to the "right number" to post.

Life just comes at you fast, new additions to the family don't make it a suitable vehicle anymore for the needs coming up. Such is life, was fun while it lasted.

Of all the front cam options at the time (4-5yrs ago) I felt beatsonic was the best for me- wanted a button and didn’t want steering controls specifically).

the 1 thing that has irritated me to no end w/ beat sonic was anytime the battery was disconnected you would have to go through a sequence of removing the a/v cables from the box and connect the backup cam back as single feed, turn truck on, test operation, then reconnect to box and all was good. It’s just a hassle to pull the upper bezel, loosen radio and pull climate to access the box/cables.

I had to replace my front camera recently and rerun that wiring from grill to radio (different camera from original). Finally got it done today connecting everything up but redid the routing of the beatsonic to be able to access without removing any of the dash/headunit and now I can reach up from the driver’s footwell pull down the box /plugs to re-initiate the backup cam then stuff it back into its hole.
    IMG_1497.jpg

this has been a “project” I’ve started, put on hold on and off for far too long BUT it’s completed in full. I have a huge problem with starting projects and not finishing then forgetting where I was in the install making it hard to finish or start up again

Which is also why I had to remove my custom harness (relocate trac, relocate cam, seat heater). So I removed the drivers grab handle and got to it. I need to add wires I previously removed (thought I didn’t need them when I changed the seat heater button) and add wiring for the gbs button. This is the removed harness, everything comes together as 1 behind grab handle because limited on space. Run is from overhead console to kick panel and behind the climate control/radio

Pretty sure these are my next tires. In size 265/75R16. No lift. I just hope MT is still making them when my DuraTracs shit the bed.
    BTW Nice truck!

I have a 3 ball hitch on my work van, it only sticks out maybe 8" past the bumper, I know it's there, but I've run into it at least 30 times since I put it on 3 years ago. Not painted red, but even if it was, I'd still hit it as it happens when my hands are full and I can't see below. So, paint or not, it's doesn't stop you from hitting it. I think the only way to not walk into it would be to put an orange cone in front of it!!

Yea, I hear ya. I love mine, it's the R8, just came out when I got mine. It definitely has the long range, gives you plenty of time to react. Only time I've found you have little time to react is when it detects a Laser or if you're the only vehicle on the road. I don't use mine every day, mostly when I have to work out of Town traveling to and from work daily. I normally don't go more than 8-9 over the speed limit, I just like to know when I'm being targeted. And, I love electronic "gadgets"!

Got the power tank installed. Reaches all the tires without needing to be removed.

Not much today, just outside enjoying the warm, sunny day, gave the truck a bath to get rid of all the salt film from recent hard NE winds. Old picture, didn't take a new one today, but had to post a picture so as to not get busted by the picture police!

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:
