Well for a buck and a half if this thing is anywhere near accurate my antifreeze is good to about negative 50 °. I don't see any reason why I need to change my antifreeze at this point. Question is looking at the color of this fluid is it a good idea to replace my coolant at 55k miles?20231105_095818.jpg

I would do a drain and fill of the radiator every 50k-60k so you don't deplete the additives and never have to flush the system. Easy 10 minute job and done.

the pin that locks it in the different positions is my biggest grip, try undoing that in snow lol. Aside from that, the clips that allow you to expand / contract the length will push themselves inside the tube fairly often. Not sure if mine is early or what but there’s no reason on earth to spend $500 on a shovel and mount.

How hard is it to get the door panels off with out breaking the clips?
Direct switch out of the speakers, did you have to change any of the wiring harness?

Where did you get yours done?
I'm in Massachusetts, and I am looking to get it done. Can the dealership tell if it was tuned?

Not too difficult, just gotta pull firmly and work your way around. There should be a slight gap near the bottom front of the door panel that you can start at. You also have to lift up after popping off the bottom clips to clear the window sill. Just double check after you remove the panel to see if any of the clips are still stuck to the door. If they are, remove them and slide them back on the panel.

When removing the little triangle trim, the clips will most likely separate from it. Make sure to pull those clips out and reinstall them on the trim piecd. If you try to reinstall the trim with the clips stuck in the door, it will push those clips into the door. Probably spent close to an hour trying to fish out those clips when I installed my speakers.

There are several good videos out there on the process of removing panels. If you have a double cab, front and rear door panel removal are pretty much the same. Access cab is different.

I ordered speakers from Crutchfield. They include a wiring harness and speaker mount free with your speaker. So everything is pretty much plug and play.

Over the weekend, did a wash, glaze, seal, and then wax. Decided to go to the store to get a birthday cake. While still sitting in my truck in the parking lot some idiot kid decided to open their door into the side of my truck then sped off as fast as they could.

Left a scuff mark and a small but noticeable dent. Tried some rubbing compound and a microfiber cloth and it helped somewhat make part of the scuff unnoticeable not did not get it all. Might need an actual polisher or something but I don’t know, paint is one thing I don’t/haven’t messed with so I know nothing except basic washing.

Just google Overland Tailor tuning “OTT”
I’m sure a tuner in your area will show up I think. I’ve heard of no one having Warranty work declined but it would be best to ask OTT. I think it’s very hard for the dealer to tell it’s installed but it is possible.

Thats a bummer( If the dent still bothers you there is Paintless dent removal options I’ve used over the years and most do great work and they can make it disappear.

It bugs me because the paint and overall exterior of the truck was flawless (as far as factory paint goes) due to WFH I rarely drove it. I did find a PDR guy that I will eventually contact. Now I just need to polish or find a detailer to work out that scuff.

These are the Body Armor 4x4 Revo's that I got from Extreme Terrain. Found this to be very helpful with the install. I really like them so far - but they haven't been "used" yet, so time will tell!
