My Tacoma is a 2002 I got it new . It has a hard starting problem when you stall in when it is cool . It's standard shift 2.7 engine . 87000 miles on it .what should I try first to fix it

Hard starts do you mean several times cranking before it starts?

The engine turns over real slow?

Does it always start hard when cold or only when it stalls?

Why does the truck stall ? First clue something is wrong.

 

There is c Code for o2 heater control . The mechanic didn’t seem to want to mess with it.
The truck stalls when you are starting out in first gear . Not all the time and only the first start out . It happens most often to my wife . I thing she it to worried about braking it . But she has driven standards for years . Her frontier is a stick
