Sand it, roll it, aerate it, fertilize and repeat.
Better stock up on plastique for the gophers.

Oh yea. We already sand and aerate it and fertilize it a little. Again just trying to go the cheap route. Lol

haven’t had a problem with gophers either

Played a round yesterday on a course that has tee times 8 mins apart. It was a logjam on almost every hole all day and sucked. I feel like there should be a standard amount of time between tee times and it sure as hell shouldn’t be less than 10 minutes.

Pretty standard. It doesn’t take ten minutes or even 8 for 4 people to pick a club, line up a shot and swing but it certainly doesn’t take into account the actual abilities of the majority of players. Watching pros on tv each spend twice that much time over every single shot doesn’t make for the best of role models either. I might actually watch the sport again if they played under real life conditions or were held to that time constraint. It’s happening elsewhere in sports.

It takes more than 8-10 minutes for 4 people to hit 2 shots each, which is what it takes to realistically be out of the way of the group behind you. That’s if everyone hits great shots which is never the case.

I’m bad, but I play bad quickly, but I always have groups on my ass because of tee times. I don’t have spotters pointing to my ball so sometimes, even on fairways, it takes a little to locate my ball. Especially now with leaves on the course too.

That’s why I said it doesn’t take abilities not account since distance off the tee varies so much. The time allowed isn’t impossible but I agree it’s unreasonable since most people don’t seem to try anyway and even if they did too many things can mess it up. I’d suggest lower stress environments like executive courses or the practice range which can be at least as enjoyable if not more with friends while also being better situations for improving your shots. Then you won’t be THAT guy as often, instead you’ll be trying to stay calm watching THE guy in front of you. Staying calm and having fun is the real trick no matter how good or not so good you are.

Yeah I stay calm and just enjoy my shots but playing with one other guy yesterday and it still took 4 hours to play made my wife not so happy haha

Never does. My best rounds have always been unhindered when you can just walk up, look it over, pick a club, visualize the shot, then make it so. Still doesn’t always work but the feeling when it does never gets old.

I am a 3rd cousin..... not close, but have met.
All of us Tway's can hit a ball.... baseball, golf ball, foot ball, soccer ball... but most of us are more interested in the engineering aspect, most of it is racing and aerodynamics, and the occasional weapons systems that need to go with it.

I shank a few, but for the most part hit dead on. My grandfather could beat you with 3 clubs. A driver, a putter and a 9 iron.
