Not really, I had asked if anyone had heard from him lately as his last posts were from October 5 and he was usually pretty active in this thread. Appears he just got busy with other stuff.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
RC390 was made for the track, and you will have that kinda of money in any trackbike. Yeah you can find a 2.5-3k older bike to track. But you would be very hard pressed to find a newer track able bike. Don’t worry about the scratches, that’s part of tracking. Just remember it’s not about top speed, it’s all about flow, and becoming a better rider.
It’s easy to get sucked in on the track by other faster riders, but when you begin it best to get your flow down first. Speed comes with time in the seat.

True, but I already have the track ready Daytona as well… so I’m trying to decide which one I want to use.

I just don't have interest in the track at this point. I need to get better about practicing, but I feel like practicing the slow speed stuff will help me more. I don't speed, I don't crave the canyons to go carving, so just making sure I don't fall over is my goal for now.

I've always heard you can learn more riding a slow bike fast. Risk is lowered, costs are usually lower, and the small KTM is still streetable.

Honestly, To what end? A grom legitimately has no value to me vs the CB500X. I'm a lame rider so idk what I'd use a grom for.

I'm not opposed if I can come up with a legit purpose..... and a garage. I need a garage if I want more than one bike.
