Took my then girlfriend to see Janus Joplin at the Sports Arena in San Diego 1969. My dad drove us and picked us up afterward. My daughter asked me once, "Why didn't you see all the cool bands from back in those days?" My answer, "I was too damn broke then" Just watched "Almost Famous" on Netflix. I could listen to that sound track all day long,,,

I'm in North Dakota , thanks again for the info on the plant. The article was interesting, were getting colder up here now. I will try the mist on the leaves, my humidity is quite low in the house. Last winter I was at 15% most of the time and that's with a small humidifier..
@Travlr said it looked like it needs repotting, that is something we want to do, both my wife and I have brown thumbs, other than a philodendron we got for a wedding gift we had for 25 years before we managed to kill This is the longest we've kept a plant alive.

Same boat here. I started to feel symptoms last Monday the 30th. Woke up Tuesday and called out of work. Same with the next day. On Thursday I took a Covid test and came back positive, my work doesn’t pay for Covid off time anymore so I’m using up a vacation time. Finally starting to feel human again the last couple of days and hope to go back Wednesday, tomorrow. I opted not to take Plaxlovid pills in hopes that my body fighting it on its own would build my immunity to it. Not sure if it was worth it it’s been a tough 8 days down.

    Oh, good morning all. ;)

My work has a video on it that shows up in our weekly training / learning videos seems like once a week. Pretty redundant after awhile but needed in todays wacko world. Hope one never has to use that learning in the real world.

I just used the last of my vacation days last week going to Costa Rica and even had to take one of those days unpaid. I have no vacation left to use and we don't get paid sick leave so any time off for this is unpaid. I'm feeling a little better but might just give in and call doctor today to be safe. My work didn't pay for Covid time off from the beginning.

Hope your feeling better today Chuck.

I have had two Covid shots and 2 boosters (only because we travel a lot, had to have them). I have had covid 3 times since and it is just like a cold and only lasts a couple of days. Seems it is going to be around for some time. Take care and be safe.

It is a wacko world and there is no relief in the near future. One thing I was taught in one of our work smarter classes was "Fail to plan, Plan to fail".
I am always aware of my surroundings. Never know when or where. Plus having a ccw helps have a little added security. I hate the nay sayers that say it will never happen to me or in my neighborhood .

With that, Have a good day folks and stay safe and vote today.

I just realized I haven’t been in this thread since late October. I tried catching up but with 238 pages to read down I failed miserably. I skimmed quite a bit before giving up, I have the reading attention span of a gnat. Some good entertainment from what I did absorb though. ;)

    Morning all:

There are signs posted--Hunters wear orange so should you---, that's it, no mandate that the hikers have to wear it. Common sense says don't wear brown during deer season or black during bear season, the majority of hikers don't have a clue that they are hiking during hunting seasons. At one time we just had to watch out for other hunters, now we need to also watch out for hikers on state game lands, that were bought and paid for by hunters, who aren't even required to wear orange! :(

Spectacular for 14 rounds of rootball surgery, 7 bags of soil, and a bag of cypress to top! My back is still telling me how spectacular it was!

Tomorrow should be easier. All I have to do is put a show shine on this for the Veterans Day Dance at the hangar. They want to show it off.
