    Cool stuff
I didn’t go with much lift as I like good up travel and down travel on the shocks …. Currently I have a lot of up and down…. Droop is your friend on these Tacomas

Looks really nice. I’m looking to jump from 33s to 35s when I need new tires. How much more work is need to fit 35s compared to 33s? I did all the basic trimming and cutting to fit 33s when flexing.

I trimmed my fenders pretty aggressively (~2” to the plastic clips) in addition to the BMC that I already had. I had to bang the wheel wells a bit more, and now the only rubbing I get is full lock in reverse. Once I trimmed my fenders, I had my steel plate bumper lobbed off at the end and had an end plate welded (thanks to Savant Offroad in Los Alamitos) so that the bumper wouldn’t get caught in the bite of these beefy tires. I have a feeling that I am going to rub at full compression with my offset, but haven’t had an opportunity to flex it out yet.

35’s are definitely a commitment, but i think my next Baja trip will prove that it’s worthwhile.

Thank you, I figured it would be a lot more trimming/cutting but 35s look so good lol. I’m sure they will make a difference off roading compared to 33s. Did you regear as well? That’s the one part I don’t want to do right away. I don’t mind the truck being slow. How does it drive now compared to 33s?

Yeah I regeared when I was on 33's to 5.29 just because of the gear hunting on any road trip with ANY hills involved. Going from 33 mud terrains to 35 all terrains have proven to have zero affect on gas mileage and I don't feel a drastic difference in drivability.

2023 white TRD OR, 6MT. Picked it up last month. My 5th Toyota truck, going back to the 80's. I know Im a dork for the Hilux badge on the tailgate, don't care. It's a joke and an ode to the war fighter Toyotas. Gotta get a demilled AA gun and mount it in the bed some day for parades. It is Idaho after all.

A friend owns a lettering wrap shop. Saw the retro stripes being sold. Had them create from a photo and they wrapped it. I think the lines of a 3rd gen are sweet, just not on the white, imo. Thinking about changing the black to an orange. I went with these for the retro look. Thanks for the comment.

Thank you Sir. I have a bit of a mental illness about neatness. 30 year career firefighter, been in waaay too many disgusting hoarder homes so I overcompensate at my own house :)
