We got slow here too, I don't have anything to do at the moment. That ain't good

Another pawn shop find, a stolen ratchet

I needed one, offered him $10 and he took it

 

The school buses in our county are contracted out. They are always late, breaking down, new drivers missing stops, parents complaining, etc. I liked riding the bus as a kid, as long as I could get a window seat to breathe fresh air and not burning oil or exhaust fumes.

 

I always sat in the back, man it was bumpy

 

I always sat in the back too. That's where all the burn outs and weed heads sat, lol.
Ah yes, youth, no cares, no responsibilities.

 

I never rode the bus.

Kindergarten through half of second grade in Georgia I walked or was driven.

The other half of second through 8th I was driven or if it was decent, which was basically never, I biked.

High school before I got my license I rode with a friend that was a year older then I started driving myself.

 

Update on the detailers "grill"

He says hes going to take it home and put a rack in it, and burn it out. Intended fuel is charcoal. Then cook for us all tomorrow.....I have concerns.

What is the worst that could happen?

 

Rode the bus through end of 10th grade when I started driving. I was a middle-back kinda guy, I appreciate comfort but I also acknowledge the cool kids in the back dynamic. I also like making quick exits, no doddling, so middleish was far enough back for me.

Best part of having a pregnant wife is terrorizing my parents and in laws with what we are(nt) going to name my son. Let them think he's gonna be mortimer wilfredo

I rode the (not short) bus until I had my license. One day me and another kid decided it would be a smart idea to light off a firecracker in the back seat. I went first, mine didn't go. his went next, it went off. with smoke rolling out of his seat he said, while waving his arms to clear the smoke, "IT WASN'T ME!!" Then I heard, "CORY! FRONT SEAT!" When I told the driver it wasn't me, mine didn't go off, he wasn't thrilled. I got suspended from school for a week. Best part of the story, the kid who lit the fire cracker is now a County Sheriff!
