Expedition Toppers

Hey, I was wondering if there was a group out there that was big into expedition style rigs. I ran across this photo and cant find anything on this or a comparable style topper and wanted to know what was out there that is tried and true.

That is the flip pac on that truck.

 

The shell you are looking at on Dave's truck is a Flipac from Adventure Trailers. I've heard that the old Wildernest Campers are going to be made again. I've had a Wildernest and really enjoyed it. I plan on placing an order for a Flipac in a couple of weeks once I've met the AT crew at the Overland Expo this April and sorted out all of the available options.

If my station wasnt dumb about leave i would make it to that for sure, but i have to have any leave for the following month in before the 20th, so, ill be putting next years dates on my calender early. what other events are there? i was driving across country last summer and around black hills south dakota there was something big going on im kind of a new comer to expeditioning, but thats basically what i ended up doing before anyway, any other fun get ups going on?

 

Not certain but I believe that there may be another Expo in Georgia sometime this year but haven't heard allot about it, just a little web forum chatter.

Other than the product displays from numerous vendors, as well as all of the socializing, you will also get to enjoy many other activities at the Expo which are listed here.
