    IDK if he'll ever get it done, given the scarcity of 10mm wrenches.

    If you press the two buttons I’ve labelled in red, simultaneously, and hold for 10 seconds, it unlocks “Lexus Mode”. That gives your another 50hP from your 2GRFKS, but also deducts $18,000 from your bank account. Use for survival purposes only.

    I’m definitely curious how it’s wired.
    The fact that it goes click and not clunk has me thinking it’s related to the trip odometer. If it had more of a beep I’d recommend tracing it back to the exhaust system.

    It is put there in the event the truck is totalled in transit to the dealer. It indicates the truck has been rebuilt. When pressed, it uses Toyota Care to add another mark to the sucker count.

    Sorry to say, but you bought a truck that was previously totalled.

    Side note, it isn't Friday yet.

    It's a 3rd gen option that activates the Chick Magnet. To reset the truck's orientation hold the button in for 20s, that forces a automatic posting of your email on grindr and instead of chicks, you'll bet the Bromance crowd knocking on your window. Beware, 3rd gen owners often get tired of others asking about their trucks.

    :anonymous:Just like you and others said... I feel so ashamed and deserve the flood of cracks you guys are sending over :crapstorm:

    It's kind of cramped there and I'm not that young anymore. So the button I pressed is NOT the one shown on the picture.
    But to my very weak defense. THERE IS A BUTTON and it's under the clutch pedal. Likely the safety switch to confirmed clutch is pressed in order to start the engine.

    :smack::anonymous::anonymous::anonymous::anonymous::anonymous::anonymous:...oh boy... :anonymous::anonymous::anonymous::anonymous::anonymous::anonymous::smack:

    That's what I was pressing.

    Yup, it’s a bolt. No clicks nor clacks when pressed upon. Probably the reason that there’s no mention of it in the manual as a pushbutton or a switch.

    Don’t feel too badly, OP. You’ve got the quintessential “Friday thread” going here.
