I ended up bumping the tune up a tad and adjusted the throttle tip-in and it is perfect now. I liked it before other than the touchy throttle, but now those little adjustments made a big difference. Thanks for the heads up and so glad I came across your post about the update.

I wondered how it went. That’s great to hear, glad to help. You’ve got that set up just the way you want it now. Another example of why OTT is the tune to go with.

The install was very straight forward.

I installed this mic in the unused OEM spot in the overhead console: https://shop.enfigcarstereo.com/product/enfig-mic-toy1/.

I did get the Sirius adapter, just because I like to retain all factory capabilities but I don't listen or subscribe to Sirius. I don’t mind how it looks in the truck and I like the giant screen.

One point I'll make is that if you are the kind of person that uses three of the dash vents to blow on you when you are driving alone, those days are over when you go to one of these "floating screen" head units.

The Toyota Nav-Radio is complete crap so it does not indicate if there is. I guess we will never know.

I did the Screen Protech on mine. It's a bit pricy but came w/ the film for the instrument cluster and head unit. You can add on double film for a bit more in case you mess up (in this case, I didn't). They send a full kit with the slip solution, a really nice microfiber cloth, and a little squeegee.

Also they have a protector for the shifter. I just installed mine when I swapped out the charging tray.

Many of us wondered. Many of us have tried them. Many love them. Many hate them. Seems to be a very individual thing.

FWIW, I have them and like them (5'11). My knees have always seemed close to the steering wheel. But I got a cheaper set and the bolts were SAE and the jackers were metric. If they weren't solid aluminum I'd be scared of the QC.

It seems good. I haven’t taken a call yet, just speech-to-text and I haven’t had to repeat myself multiple times. I’ll see if I can record a voice message with it so I can see myself how it sounds.

My recommendation for a better GPS nav experience is to avoid OEM nav systems. I have very good experiences with Garmin
