Are they installed?

 

I have the "rally thickness" ones from Primitive Racing on my Subaru. It took some decent hits before I got the truck and never dented. Definitely nothing like the truck has seen though.

 

So flagpole next Saturday?

If I was to get skids again I would go with aluminum. If I was planning on using them often I would get steel

I think I could make this. I guess the 4runner would be okay being bone stock.

 

You’ve seen my TRD skid plate, 1/4” thick aluminum and it flinches every time a rock approaches. Mid and rear skids are 3/16” steel and no dents. I even high centered the rear skid pretty good on a rock at Uwharrie and there’s no evidence of it.

 

I took mine up FPK bone stock and with 200 miles on the odometer and it did fine. I did dent the TRD skid though lol

Whoa whoa whoa! I wheeled the crap out of the Tacoma, almost rolled the Jeep. Not all of us can live close to trails. Some of us have to be close to Wegmans.
