 For some reason your post brought the old "phish-heads phish-heads rolly-polly phish-heads" song into mind.

But yeah, the stupid(-est) part being biggest VT city Burlington and Shittyden county. Plenty of wanna-be-big-college-town tard action around there, with all the expected hair dye, overdoses, and higher prices. Get out in the sticks and it's more fun in the woods and snow.

Folks we have functional 4x4 action again!

Replaced with an entire new actuator and that did the trick.

I'm guessing the old one had continuity problems even with a new motor. Didn't realize the corrosion was that bad.

At least this one is beefed up and has hex bolts if I do have to service it again. It's too easy to round out those Phillips screws.

I really hope no one has to deal with this any time soon. I'll have bolt sizes, part links, and SKU's for anyone that needs them though. The thread I used on here was 42 pages and has stuff scattered everywhere.

Any idea of what the final weight will be in comparison to the box?
Would almost want a beefy bumper or something to add some weight.?
Looks like it will be light but that's only visual.

Not really sure. That is 2x4 1/8 inch steel. probably weighs almost as much as the bed anyway... Lots to still weld on and add, so it will get heavier...

Right. and the bed is just thin metal and fiberglass, I believe.
    No more metal floor.

    Plastic composite mold, not fiberglass.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
That's because they aren't Phillips head screws, they are JIS screws. JIS head screws look the same, but the angle of the point is different, a Phillips screwdriver won't get proper bite and will round out the heads, like you saw.

Kinda stupid to have the two, but Japan insists on using them.

Hey @Supr4Lo! Found a place for you to go explore for me-Sheep Bridge across the Verde River. It is off FR 269 north east of Phoenix, kinda near Payson. Looks interesting and worth an overnight. Mazatzal peak isn't too far off either and that looks like some fun... Don't know what a road called Passage 23 is but it sure looks interesting. Go get some pictures!

I was there last weekend. Did Bloody Basin road to sheeps Bridge. Then crossed the Verde River and continued on the Backway to sheeps bridge. Was about 70 miles total. Was a real nice drive with beautiful scenery, but nothing challenging.
I posted a few pics back a few pages, but here's a few more also https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/az-bs-thread-4-2⁰.431790/page-5423#post-29283796

There was lots of camping out that way.

    On sheeps bridge

Crossing the Verde River. Wasn't going to initially because we were alone, but the wife called me chicken.....
    IMG_20231105_165829.jpg

Next weekend we're doing The Backway to Crown King with a small group. That trail should be more challenging.
