raining here.... several times overnite.

no tractor time today. bummer.

did get the mini ex out yesterday & troll around on it. cleaned up some grapevines from trees with it. reach up as high as it will go find a spot in them & let the machine pull instead of my back.

this is dangerous if you try it on a dead tree.... but lots of fun when you can get back out from under it.

any of you guys know anything about propane fireplace orfices?

are they all the same size?
do they work based off of BTU's?

got a gas fireplace & trying to get it switched over to propane. know that i need to change those things.

input? advice?

 

Well you gotta get a conversion kit maybe.
It all depends on how old your unit is,what type you have.
Replaced our logs last year.
I would like to think it would be the same thing as a dryer or stove.

 

I found out this afternoon (just above freezing) why there's a coat hook in my new Massey 4710...cabs get hot! Or at least toasty.
Old John Deere 1830 was open station. Blowing snow was sometimes awful, wind shifts and such sending snow down your neck, unable to see etc. Looking forward to the new rig in the snow.

 

im under the impression different fuels require specific orifice/jets.

 

turns out not only are they different sizes.... they are different completely & dont even share a thread pitch on the 2 sets ive got.

so now the thing going on is i gutted the old FP & just saved the burner & logs. today will take the gas logs & burner out of the new one thats never even been lit & put the older set of propane set up in it & get it all mounted .

hopefully finish up trimming it all & have it in service before the wife gets home tomorrow.

we all know how plans go though...

what kinda thing is that?

is it an auto feed splitter?

never seen one of those before.

Seen 1 on my route at an old closed factory in the parking lot. guy had a tree trimming/cutting business and hired a guy all he did all year long was split wood.

 

this is a bitchin tool.
