Quite the honor!

 

The hurricane we got at the end of August re-created an ancient lake in Badwater Basin, Death Valley. A few miles wide/long but only a few inches deep, they say it will evaporate soon. Pretty amazing

Been there a few times and you could always tell it had water at one point in time, awesome to see it how it could've been. That point is about 285 ft below sea level. Kind of makes sense all the water gathered there.


In other news, I got cheapo discounted seats for the Chiefs tonight, get to watch em struggle.

 

Nice, the same guy that gave us the Kings tickets from my daughter's school auction also gifted us some tickets to see the women's pro team play vs Canada tomorrow. I am tempted to go but I don't know if I can press my luck taking Sofia again to a late game so soon after yesterday

AC is awesome (2nd/3rd row AC) so it chills the interior really fast and really well.

I haven't taken it on any trails since I don't plan to do so at all with it.

It's capable if I put A/Ts on but it'd be a waste of money to do so.

 

Not bad, it's a good cheep way to kill a evening. I'm sure a beer is a lot more affordable than at a pro level game.

 

Yeah it's nice, a local draft here is seven bucks and a 24oz can like a Coors is $13. Not as cheap as a minor league baseball game but still a deal. I went to a Kraken game last year and a single 16oz canned IPA was $17
