Driver arm rest makes noise

Recently my driver arm rest on the side where window up and down bottoms are when I press it makes noises. I’m not sure why. Did it get dislocated or maybe a pin came out?

anyone have this issue?
Is there any fix for it?

 

Mine rattled years ago. I stuffed some foam in there and it went away, not sure if that’s what you are describing though.

 

Not sure where you live but if it recently got cold the whole interior will probably start creaking and making noises, at least mine does at times.

 

While the door panel was still mounted (if so, how), or after removing the panel?

 

Still mounted. You can pry that trim around the window switches and use a zip tie to press thin foam in. It’s also possible to remove that piece, but in my case didn’t need to!
