I had bought some tail light assemblies from eBay and installed them after a couple days my passenger tail light went out. But everything works just not the passenger running tail lights I thought it was bulbs but that was not the case bought new bulbs but still no avail. Took the trailer harness apart and connected with stock harness still nothing. Took the driver side and plugged it into the passenger and still nothing. Driver side tail light works along with braking reverse and signal. Passenger side tail light does NOT work but brake, reverse, and signal work. I am stumped please help

Return to Ebay seller. Generally, anything but OEM lighting is junk.

The left side taillight feeds power to the right side taillight.
See if you have power to to pin #2 (Green wire) on the right side (passenger) taillight.
If not, it’s a bad LEFT side taillight, a bad wire from the left side taillight to the right side, or a poor connection at the left side taillight.

@TnShooter thank you! so in theory if my driver side works the fault should be somewhere between the driver and passenger side tail light harness?

Not necessarily, it could be the drives side taillight. Power goes in the drivers side taillight at pin #2 and out of pin# 6 to the the right side taillight.

Does the passenger side license plate light work?
It also gets power from the left taillight.

You could unplug the the left (drivers) taillight and jump pins 2 & 6. (Green wires)
If the right side works, it’s the left side taillight that is bad.

With the left side plugged in, does the passenger license plate light work?
    Or does it not work.

Just to confirm, you jumped the green wires on the drivers side, correct?

Also, do you have a voltage meter?

It sounds like a bad RIGHT side light.
You could remove the drives side light and jump the 2 pins (green wires).
Then plug the drivers side light in to the passenger side. If the light works, then it’s a bad passenger side light.
