Didn't go perfectly last night at the Goalie Wars, but didn't go too bad either for his first time ever doing something like this.

Played 3 games in a group of 7 kids. Won 2 and lost 1.

Made it to the semifinal and lost by 2, to the kid that eventually won the whole thing.

Needless to say my kid cried and was super upset and didn't talk on the ride home, but I explained to him that he didn't do bad for his first time ever. And that we went into this as a fun and learning experience, plus some good practice for him.

He's a bit better today.

 

Season is in the books.

Down 1-0, then down 2-1, to winning 3-2 with my kid making 14 saves in the game and one of those a penalty kick save to keep us up 3-2 towards the end of the game.

Record is 4-2-2.

 

That’s not very nice.

 

Back in business! Coated the new welds and hinges with a quick spray of high temp black since getting it home.



Looking forward to firing it back up, maybe next week. Thinking I will sandblast and repaint the whole thing with some high temp paint next spring.

Great news

 

I never lifted my truck, but each time I fix it, it gets a little taller. It used to be the seat was at butt hight.
Replaced my worn tires with a different brand in the same size - truck got a little taller.
Replaced my worn shocks with a fresh set - truck got a little taller.
Truck seat is now at waist height. Have to climb up & slide out now. LOL. I think I need slider steps.

I've lifted every Toyota I've owned.. 2 4runners and now 2 Tacoma's. My first 4runner was the biggest. Had a full 3" lift plus 33s plus a 1.5" body lift.

Had I have like the Crosstrek more, that would have been lifted too.

 

Makes perfect sense.

I keep mine by the kitchen door. If I see snow/frost on the car. I bring it with me.

 

Usually it's remote start for the win. Neighbors are far enough away that it's not an issue

Saw a woman at work once scaping with a credit card
