I think we knew it to be the case prereveal. All the insider bros kept saying spring intro for hybrid like the tundy. Wanna keep my 2015, if the 25 4r comes in a stick too.

It’s on purpose they hold back the hybrids, as ain’t happening with their non trucks right?

I mean, Camrys and Highlander hybrids come out the same time as gas stuff, but on the trucks, make us wait 6 mos. it’s bs to me, but i dunno.

The lower shock mount is also a lot closer to the ball joint than on 3rd gen. That reduces the motion ratio from ~1:2 to ~2:3. This may mean 4th gen has less front suspension travel than 3rd gen.

We've seen something as stupid as a wheel center cap shortage on 4Runners, causing Toyota to ship TRD Pros with the old style TRD SEMA wheels.

Yeah, but why is it that hybrid Tundys and Tacos are released later than other hybrids like Grand Highlander, crown, camry, corolla, and other Toyotas?

Toyota never did that with the first Camry in 06, but make it a practice on these trucks. It’s annoying and deliberate.

None. I drive an old truck lol. Just checking out new stuff. If I was, maybe a manual 25 4Runner similar to the Trd Offroad Taco. Maybe not even coming, if its still built in Japan. Can’t afford anything above $40k tbh.

None of the hybrids will be below $40k. Not sure what you're getting annoyed about  Given the LC250 starts at $55k, I'd expect the cheapest hybrid Taco to start at $50k and go up from there.

The hybrid trucks have a different electric motor layout and automatic transmission, compared to the E-CVT on Grand Highlander and other transverse engine models. All it takes is a small part to be late from a supplier for them to experience delays

Do like that color, those gloss flares are awful though. Not in the market for a Pro anyways. Maybe can get that “wet cement” color in the SR5 trim.

How long before a flare swap thread is posted? :p. I would swap them right in the trash.

Might be able to media blast them for a matte finish.

More partial to the color coded flares, tones down all the weird angles. Not as wide either. Where-as preferred the black on the 3rd Gen.

Those 18" wheels and power running boards betray the truck's real customer base.

Are the Pros and Trailhunters going to have bigger brakes?

Don’t think 16” wheels are going to be an option, assuming even the base models are getting bigger brakes than the 3rd Gen.

Pretty sure those are sliders and not power running boards, about 99.9%
