    Yeah.
Made a batch last weekend, but the grocery delivery sub'd McCormick chili kit for our regular Wick Fowler's. Not a huge fan.

I cook beans separately and mix - sometimes we like it over rice.

Our kid doesn't like chili, she is actually a very plain eater. About the only things she likes with spices on it is when I do brisket and Tacos. So it's all for my wife and myself lol.
Ya I normally start with the Carroll Shelby spice kit but ours got sub'd with McCormick yesterday also from Walmart Delivery, I ended having to do a LOT of doctoring on it last night to get it to where I was pretty happy. I mean I always doctor but at least I like the base Shelby spices in it.

Only posting this rare breakfast at work occurrence. Shop owner woke up with a massive carne asada craving apparently and it’s 8:47am and he’s cooking carne asada for everyone today. I love Fridays

Here we go, heated up a good sized bowl for lunch. Wife didn't take any for lunch because she didn't want to deal with the outcome from the beans lol.

I am from South Africa. There are a lot of us in the area so we do yearly lamb grill event to get everyone together and keep a bit of the culture preserved.
We cook the whole lamb in the foil lined wooden boxes, and then also lamb chops and sausage on open grills. Lots of side dishes, potluck style.

    It's a tomato & onion gravy/sauce over grits.
Basically sauteed onions and chopped tomatoes. That's the base, then you can add whatever you like; some add hot sauce and maybe chopped peppers, or add garlic and herbs for more Italian taste, or fruit chutney for a bit of sweetness, or even BBQ sauce. You can also add vinegar (Apple cider vinegar or balsamic) if you like that, or if you want a little more sweet a little brown sugar or apricot jam. It's limitless.
