Reorganizing shit in the garage...I hate heavy stuff

So I have come to the conclusion that the big U sent this 4runner my way just so I could appreciate my Tacoma all the more.

 

Made room for the new table, mostly.

Going in the same place as the old, but I'll have to make a small shelf underneath for placing my plasma cutter versus being on a cart. Otherwise I'll have no place for my welding cart

Suspension for sure. Not as sre about HP.

 

Yeah that's fair, those things have weird ride characteristics. Fresh bushings and shocks would probably make a nice difference.

 

Are you making the TEQ wall hangings?

 

The harshness of the ride is starting to get to me. Then I drive the truck and remember why I spent all of that $$ on those ADS shocks.

I can make a lot of stuff, I just don't advertise for it

Getting a bigger table in the next few days, so instead of being limited to 25" x 33" I'll have a cutting area of 48" x 33"

That's a slippery slope, suspension= bigger tires = new wheels = tundra brakes =regear = supercharger.

Stock suspension (or whatever you call my lowered setup), stock tires, and supercharger is actually quite a fun combo. Every time I go in the garage and see the stack of 35s sitting there I think about putting them back on, but then I remember how perky the truck is and I get 17mpgs out of it, and the though fades.

 

I think I'm going to live with it for now. At least through the winter. Then decide If I want to keep it or put any money into it.

 

If I do suspension, it will be without adding any lift. I think I will also go down a tire size at the first opportunity. Not a fan of the 32s that are on it now.

265/70/16? It's what I have with the Yokohama Geolander H/T. Pretty happy with them. Certainly a MayPop tire in the dirt but around town I like how smooth and quiet they are. Be curious how they do when the white stuff starts falling.

 

That's more of a street tire isn't it? Looks like it has plenty if sipping.

 

Will the 7.75" U bolts work with the OME leafs?
