I might just order these to be safe. I figure it's better to have too much thread than not enough.

Yes, not aggressive tread but decent depth and siping.

On a personal note, trying to decide whether I keep my house and be cash poor, or get an apartment near work and and be much more comfortable financially. Hmmm.

Where does one put multiple vehicles at an apartment. It's always been one vehicle per person in the ones I've been in. Also doggos...

Out here landlords are so anal about pets. Most every rental is no pets allowed, or one cat or <25lb dog if you're lucky. One more reason we're really fortunate with this house, when we moved in the owner told us we needed a big dog for the backyard.

Well the ones I'm looking at are across the street from my work. So one question to ask would be can I leave my truck parked at work, and the other car can stay at the apt. Worse case I sell my car.

Dog. Venice. She is adamant about taking Znüni. I guess maybe if her living situation doesn't work Znüni may come back to me and id figure it out.

Then I would have to get a storage unit for all my garage stuff and would be able to still work on stuff. Not ideal but it saves me a ton of money.

Idk, it's a tough pill to swallow but it's the difference between having a couple hundred left over each month vs a couple thousand ...

Is a smaller house an option. Something with a yard still?

I guess it is an option but unappealing. Rental homes here are $2k/mo. Whereas the apt is $1300. Then you have to maintain the yard and all that. If I'm going to give up on owning a home, I want to let go of all that bullshit. No mowing, upkeep, maintenance. Idk this all kinda came into the picture this afternoon so I have to process it, but I am having a hard time justifying keeping my home, the numbers just suck.

This is a very rare occurrence. Harley and Dex will lay together but Mai Thai being near him is almost unheard of. I called him up onto the bed and Mai Thai had a fit but stayed... progress I guess.

Dex side eyeing the fk outta him, like why you gotta be so mean.

It's the heloc that is putting it over the top isn't it? How much is just the mortgage payment?

    Oh ya, similar situation?

Eh not the killer, basically that would get scooped up by a second mortgage after I sell the van. The biggest cost is the equity. Our house shot way up since we bought in 2016. So I have to pay her half of it if I keep it. That's $100k right there at these interest rates...

I think I've convinced myself what I'm going to do. Pile on debt or be debt free with a big nest egg. Kinda easy to decide.

this thing is literally sharpness incarnate. My girlfriends a cook and she’s warned me this is one of the sharpest knives she’s seen new. I am mildly afraid of it lol

Only in a few ways, but not in a way to compare at all. You guys are married, my ex and I were not. Other factors kind of bound us, such as her having become financially dependent on me and me taking care of her dad both physically and financially.

I won't go into it but I was in the situation of - do I stay where I'm at or do I find an apartment for myself.

I found an apartment, and lived there for almost 2 years.

Met my now-wife, and money I saved up got us a new house where we live now.

Moral of the story; change can be good for you, for your mental health.

I don't know your whole situation as far as finances go, but having gotten the apartment I was actually able to save money (as well as spend it on myself on dumbshit). $2650/mo was cheap for a nice 1 bedroom where I was so I saved quite a bit every month. Fast forward to meeting Stephanie, I had money saved for my newfound future.

Things suck now, and they will for awhile. But you always have to remember that you gotta take care of yourself; you can be your own bestest friend or your own worst enemy.

I'm rooting for you obviously :fistbump:

I was rolling around today looking at something on the 2wd truck, I noticed some crusty rust forming spots on the inside of the bed underneath. Nothing is breaking through to the other side.

should I just brush it and roll on some rust oleum ?

I was thinking this is a sound plan to prevent it from going further unless there is another product I’m not aware of

That's right I remember you mentioning that; yeah dude sharp knives go a long way!

Did she give you instruction on care? I ask cause most Japanese knives are "white" steel so they're uncoated and will rust easily.

I've never cut with mine let alone clean it; I'm afraid of it as well

She literally severed a tendon in her thumb the last year and had to have that micro surgery or whatever it’s called. It’s single bevel so sharpness on one side.
