    No, Toyota haven't screwed anything up.

    A dealership (Newbold) screwed up. Toyota doesn't run the dealerships.

    Where he got it inspected on Thursday (Twin City Toyota) are submitting the claim to try and get him a new frame.

    Process takes a bit, since it's about a $14,000 job, paid for by Toyota due to the frame rot lawsuit

    It's fairly easy to address if you tackle it right away.

    We ended up getting into it with Weiss over some really bad engine works that cost the customer another engine replacement. I think Ultimately Weiss insurance and the customers car insurance had to cut a deal to get the engine paid for. But it was not pretty on their end.

    Yeah it turns out I'm not the only person who had a really bad experience with them. We have a lot of people who bought from them and maybe went service with them a couple of times but will drive extra far just to come to us to avoid going to that crookerie of a place

    Usual negligent service. Brake services where components were left lose, master cylinder caps missing, oil changes that never changed the filter so it basically gummed up over time causing engine trouble, being charged 2 hours of diag for key fob replacement, petty small stuff for a dealer but a big fucking deal for a customer.

    Last time I went to them was for the frame coating. Which I'm guessing they forgot to put into the system making my frame "expired" good thing I kept that paper

    Very good thing you kept that paper. Because not only can Toyota bring the hammer down on new bolts, so can the state of Illinois. One of the few things Illinois is good at is keeping dealerships in check when fraud is reported.
