Hasn't been this empty in a long time

 

Cutting up scraps from a other project to make it all fit.

 

Got the dynamite in, got the Harbor Freight floor mat in, got the original sound editing over it, and somewhere I must have covered up a clip hole because the top is not anchoring correctly. And I still need to source rear seat belts but that'll be a while because they are not cheap

 

Just found

 

And I just found the issue I was having, I forgot there are three 10 mm bolts that hold the top of the seat back on, the bolts were still in the hole. So of course the seat was impacting them and not allowing all the clips to engage. Fixed that issue. Got everything cleaned up and I'm about to take it for a test drive to see how much all that sounds stuff helps. I have high hopes

 

Not pictured: I also did the insides of the B pillars up to about where the seat belt would be installed (If I had them!)

 

Why are you putting the seats back in?

 

I’ve heard the dynamite stuff helps with these trucks.

 

I put dynamat in mine. Dynamite sounds like a bad idea though

pretty sure he had a molle rack though and took the seats out a long time ago

he must be getting it ready to trade for a 4th gen

I did. If you look at pages one and two it details it pretty well.

As far as putting them back in... The bottoms can be removed fairly easily but the kiddo is sitting upright facing forward and her car seat and I figured if I can get a car seat to work in here she can go on some of the forest service road runs. She already really likes time with me and the truck and whatnot. Plus after cleaning everything out and realizing I've been carrying way too much stuff back there. Anyway, this helps me simplify. Plus with the sound ending and the seats it's actually enjoyable to drive and I'm not blasted with road noise as much anymore. I'm eventually going to do sound deadening in the doors. The swing out the upper B pillars the floors and maybe one day the headliner.

 

Headliner and rear wall are the top 2 spots that have the most impact.

 

Headliner sounds like a pain.

 

just take care of it while you are fixing the leaky brake light

 

Access cabs don't have leaky brake lights
