This is the first time I've bagged all year. We had bad snow mold last year and I had a lot more leaves than usual so bagging seemed like a good idea.

Made a prototype Candlepin Bowling ball spinner.
Will be able to resurface my old bowling balls now.
Does vibrate but will get a file to true up the seat.
    Total Cost.
    $27…

If anyone remembers W. T. Grant stores, they closed around 1976.
The 1/4” drill was bought there.

Those balls are about 50 years. I used them for tournaments. Sadly I started bowling again and they do not react like they use to. They sound “dead” and they are bouncing in the tray instead of driving through. So I will recondition these the best I can, bowl one game with them and then they are retired. Lots of great memories, and bad ones, but going to try a set of urethane balls.
The ones in my Sig will be here today.
Will it help me? I don’t know but, it’s another chapter in my life and I don’t bowl like I use to so I need any advantage I can.

Today on Cheap Tips with Rusty:

    Need a shim?

    KIMG3515.jpg

These $1.19 peel & stick tiles from Slowes cut easily, stay put due to the adhesive, don't really compress and don't seem to rot or absorb water.

They are about 1/16" and you can stack them up as well as put screws or nails through them.

    ...and they are cheap! :)

Same. Removing and modifying plumbing... :puke:

Previous handyman (we'll use that term loosely) attached the water softer drain improperly and pitched wrong. So, nasty sink and brine water made its way past the check valve on the sump pump trashing it. (and all over me and the floor...) Not to mention the sump was dumping into the septic. Big no no. I cut into the main line and added a trap like you're supposed to. Still need to order an air gap, but this works for now.
