Are there any honest, legit vehicle reviewers on YT?

I feel like everyone thought the G4 was coming out at *least* 1 if not 2 years earlier than we all expected it to. This might be "too good to be true" kicking in.

 

No clue what’s going on. If I had to guess, I would guess supply chain issues not catastrophic failures of engines… lol

 

Driving sport is pretty honest , he will say if he likes vehicles or not and he also critics them

 

Nathan on TFL is pretty good about talking about the negative aspects of vehicles. Unfortunately they don’t let him review much. That’s probably why. You have to kiss the manufacturers ass’s.

 

From my perspective in industry, there are supply chain issues and "supply chain issues".

As this point, supply chain issues are no longer a thing.

As far as "supply chain issues" go, the only ones I still see are those being perpetuated by the un-driven and lazy. Those individuals and organization are simply detoured at this point.

COVID kicked off damn near 4 YEARS ago. 15 quarters ago, to be more exact. That's a long time.

2022 Tundra teasers started in June, full pic in July, and "reveal" on 9-19-2021. MPG and Pricing was available by 11-5-2021.

2024 Tacoma teasers started early May with the "reveal" on 5-19-23. Still no MPG or pricing.

I was originally interested in the Tundra and was tracking the '22 debut. Don't remember the Tundra getting anywhere near the exposure the Tacoma has been getting. The slow rolling of the Tacoma debut is definitely annoying.

 

Well the 28th is a Tuesday...

 

No. Toyota would space out the announcements.

 

What’s so special about that day? Why not tomorrow or the next Tuesday? It’s so strange.

 

So I just called Toyota and asked them why not tomorrow or the 21st. They said they picked the 28th just to piss of a guy named Turd. They said if you keep complaining they will move it to January.

 

The more I think about it, I don't see how they could delay the G4 until spring even if they wanted to. It's already in production, meaning that they have already retooled. To "back-tool" would be a bitch. They would need a REALLY compelling reason to do that.

And then there's the question of what they would sell as the 24 model. Sure, it could just be a 23, but even that's probably not as effortless as it sounds.

 

At least that’s a legit reason.
