As most of us know it's deer hunting time and the bucks are in rut chasing does.
    Be careful driving.
My 1st shift counterpart swerved to miss a deer on Friday. He went into the ditch and hit a culvert. He's down in Madison with a broken back. He had surgery yesterday. Hoping for the best.
I always tell the wife, don't swerve, just hit the deer.

Damn! I hope he has a good outcome.

I don't swerve for deer, but I did try to swerve around a stupid rabbit this morning. I think I missed him. o_O

That’s bad, hope he recovers well. The swerving can be a hard instinct to fight. It good to get reminders….straight ahead, let the vehicle do it’s job.

That's probably what all of our wife's said when we got involved in TW.

I always forget about those. I thought I saw one in Florida once, at an intersection on Pine Island road, but I couldn't get a good look as I was going the other way. Such a cool vehicle! Probably a great Broverlander platform. Edit: kidding aside, I'd love to have one of them!

    Haha!!!

Some progress by the kids today:

The tire fits between the frame rails!!!! So, the Xmember is toast and a new way of carrying the spare is born. Lots of flex clearance least 37's appear... Think instead of remaking the hitch I will live with what I have and cut down the bumper... work smarter not harder!

Looks like a good start Pat! I know you just got your rear shocks, but would be a perfect time to do a relocation to fit some 12-16" back there.

Frame boxing and additional storage, now that you've got the spare up a bit?

Todays progress: The entire x member that held the Spare Tire is GONE! Cut that sucker out. New stronger better ones that allow a spare to sit between the frame are made and installed. This is the look for the next few days... Notice that the spare is ALL the way in the frame. Gained two inches or so that way. Very cool says me.

Looking good! I ran my rear diff breather alongside my brake lines all the way to the front under the hood. But if you really want to make sure it stays dryer than you, the top of the headache rack works lol!
