Neighbor has that generation 2-door EX that hasn’t been driven in the last 3 1/2 years that I have lived next to them. Still haven’t seen them out in the front yard to ask if I can buy it :annoyed:

Difference in price between a heated vest and full jacket liner isn't really that awful. Buy once, cry once as they say. I think you'd quickly find that having your core warm you would be more inclined to notice your arms getting cold.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Look forward to getting your thoughts.

It's a Puig in light smoke - nice quality and fit. I think it looks ok on the bike but going for function over form here

Just cleaned up my chain. Letting the chain wax set before I take if for the last ride of the season to get treated fuel through the system and park it in storage.

    Sad day.

Dislike. It definitely has gotten colder here but won't be quitting. Did 50+ miles of insane single track with a buddy last Friday in the rain. Was cold af with 50 degree temps but fun as hell. Had me considering heated gear though.

Whelp my lil gamble on the Japanese Honda Dio's (1992 and 1996 50cc scoots) paid off well. Listed n sold both to the same dude in under 24 hrs with tons of legit people to hit me up for them. The guy that bought em drove 110mi one way to meet me and paid the full agreed upon price. Maybe I sold em for too low but 1k a piece.... ill take it.

I was all in at 145$ for both scoots, supplies and a few parts and I guess also my time but that was IMO not an expense as I enjoy tinkering on things like this (rather than say watch TV/Play video games).

Safely tucked away. If weather permits I may come visit, and if nothing else I'll be back to cover the exhaust.

You know, it's super bad for a bike to sit unused. I'm willing to take one for the team and ride it. I'll shoot you my addy so you can ship it down here..............with a return label of course

Good score for both you and the buyer. A good (and clean) quick flip is awesome.

I’ve gambled and flipped an RD350, DT175, CB650, CX-500, GL1800 Valkyrie and all have been well worth the time and, ultimately, reasonably profitable.

The only one that didn’t work as a complete bike was the Valkyrie which was an estate sale and had sat so long that all 6 (yes, 6 individual) carbs were a total mess. I got it running, but it was going to take way more time/energy/money to sort for my purposes. Decided that one was not worth it and parted it out instead. First person who showed up for the red/white fuel tank and wheels offered me a winning price to take the whole bike (he had 2 in-process Valkyrie’s) and away it went.

I would have liked to get the Valkyrie sorted, but it was mess and I really didn’t have extra room in the garage for it my FJR and GL1800. What the buyer really wanted was the custom billet wheels. Win/Win as they say.

My only ‘if I knew then’ moment is the RD350. Who would have thought a smoky mid-70’s 2-stoke would become super cool?
