I paid whatever they wanted because I apparently bought the last access cab tacoma to ever be made by toyota ever again.

 

What was the load out? Local place has 2 but they have the $1700 Toyota nav system. I refuse to pay for that.
It makes them more expensive than a double cab, and a double cab technically has better resale. Like this one

I need a 6 foot bed because I carry a FWC camper. What used to be called a standard size bed will not be available in the future. Neither toyota nor Ford will be making any more of these.

 

Have you looked at used 2021-2023 Access Cab truck pricing? Buying the new one with the navigation is cheaper than a used one right now.

I bought the Tacoma for the 6-speed manual transmission. Missed shifting myself. This manual truck was like a unicorn: Couldn't find any dealers with a manual on the lot, or inbound. Did a lot of searching. There were supposed manuals coming out of the factory, but I couldn't track down an actual truck.
This one almost literally fell into my buying it. I wouldn't have bought it if only automatics were offered.

Sir I completely understand where you are coming from. Instead of typing out the same stuff all over again, if anyone feels so inclined, search and look at the thread I started last month or so asking for a little advice a on pricing. That pretty much explains it all. Pics included!

I spent a very, very, long time looking for a manual transmission because that’s all I have ever driven. I absolutely refuse to drive an automatic and I also really didn’t want to buy used. Things have sure changed nowadays in regards to manual availability. It was incredibly difficult to get one.

I finally found a dealership that acquired an allocation for a 2023 with a manual and I jumped on it. If I didn’t there were a zillion guys that would have. It still took a little over six months for it to finally be built and delivered.

Worth it though! This rig is awesome and I love it! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

The delivery fee is standard for all Toyotas from corporate. Sounds stupid but it’s not bogus or anything, is unavoidable, and is included in the MSRP. the dealer added options are not included in the discount because they’re so grossly inflated and muddle the true dickount. so if the MSRP price before the dealer add-ons that is on your window sticker is 36467 then 1347/36467= 3.7% discount.

in your case, the headlights and floor mats are included in the MSRP. They are factory options not dealer add ons so not deducted from the discount so 1836/42603 so 4.3% discount. Nice!

 

But when you build a Toyota, it shows base msrp with the $1600ish delivery fee. Then on the dealers website, I’ll see another delivery fee added on of about $1400-$1600 and calling that new number MSRP along with any factory add ons… so aren’t most people double paying the delivery fee?? Either way I do think it was a great deal! Wasn’t going to buy over msrp so I booked a one way plane ticket to Cleveland OH to pick it up and drove it back to Georgia (10 hours). Cleveland Heights Toyota is still showing other 23 Tacomas sr v6 4x4s for about the same price if anyone is interested..

 

Oh nevermind...a 1300 dealer delivery fee on top of the Toyota delivery fee? Geez that is BS. So basically got for MSRP. Not bad. They throw that on there and when it sticks great.

 

yep! This is on all listings I’ve seen! The dealer delivery fee seems to vary slightly but yeah, people think they’re getting msrp but really it’s $1600 over msrp. Still, for another $1600 it’s worth it over the other brands, but I hate the dealer dishonestly.
