You joke but I’ve already got a line on some SE-R rims for the summer

My very first car was a 2005 Sentra 1.8S with a 5 speed. Had so many good memories in that car. My brother got it as a gift from my parents brand new in 05, then it got handed down to me. I drove it till it got tboned and then I sold it to a mechanic friend, who straightens panels, and drove it till 350k km where structural rot took it out. I love these things- mine ran like a top even once the whole body was like Swiss cheese.

So sad to see how bad Nissan has gotten. A shell of their former selves.

I do joke. If you want to get that 16s car into the low 13s there's weight reduction to be had https://nerocam.com/scc_tap.asp

In all seriousness, old light manual compacts are a blast that modern cars will never have.

It’s seems like a marketing agency, they probably filmed all that for ads and now trying to offload it for a buck…

I can't help but think after removing the 5100's that they were for a non lifted truck...very little travel compared to the Elkas. The Billy's gave me a harsh ride...thought maybe it was nature of the beast. Maybe the reason they lasted less than 2 years. 20231115_182907.jpg 20231115_190959.jpg

How long was the Bilstein compared to the Elka?

I never measured...but just looking at the two I'd say at least a 6 inch difference in extended length...I had to compress the Elkas to get them under the top shock mounts. I had to jack up each side of the axle to let the other side to drop out .

6" difference is unusually severe. Is there some damage on the Bilsteins preventing full extension?
