New video shows the backseat in a non hybrid. Hooray, there’s some underseat storage. Why does he keep trying to say the backseat is comfortable though, with his knees jammed into the back of the seat in front of him like he’s on a Spirit Airlines flight.

If I’m in the backseat it’s because my wife is driving. I’ll have plenty of room. I don’t usually drive huge dudes around so.. eh

He literally shows himself moving his legs with the door closed . Also says buy a fullsize if you want more room

I guess you and Jon have a different interpretation of comfortable than myself and most other humans.

I'm talking about the Hawaii presser. Toyota showed the thing a year before the leak themselves.

The Diamond plate-esque seat fabric is a bit cheesy. Do you get a free barbed wire tattoo around your bicep too?

The rear seat storage situation is awful, the bottom is held up with a strap and a button!? 3rd Gen DC is way better. Typical Toyota always amiss on couple things, and to think that SR5 DCLB will be pushing $50K OTD.

Lots of features on the SR5 that were TRD stuff. I still think the sheer amount of blanks and the bare display are a drag though.

I do like that it has leveling headlights though, that is a critical feature for me.

It is pretty cheesy how that seat folds up. I’m not seeing any benefit in changing how it used to open. At least there’s some storage though.

That's OK avoid the question , I buy a mid size for the smaller size . If I want a big back seat I'll buy a full size . And I don't have an issue with his content, seems like a nice guy . Sounds like you're just jealous of him

I'm ok with that backseat for the most part. Really the loss of the hard plastic on the seat back is my biggest issue. I think the button and strap to hold up the bottom is cheesy, but whatever.

Lack of armrest and no HVAC to the back sucks as well.

He seems like a shill for Toyota. Why can’t he just be honest and say that the backseat is cramped for an adult?

Have no use for rear seats, why I am still a little peeved they killed the access cab, use mine every single day for tossing stuff in and out. So means I have to move up to the double cab, or guess they are calling it crew max now. Most of my stuff is kinda heavy, so have to lift it up higher. That carpet is kind lame too, see that getting ruined real quick under my thumb, that and they don’t lay flat. Guess I could rip them out and build a platform.

That or buy a F150 next go around. Which I keep on going back to, since Toyota disappoints me on few things.

No rear AC is lame on a vehicle this expensive. It seems like most SUVs and cute utes have it. Why can’t a bigger truck?

Well he said he's fine he didn't say he would sit back there on a road trip. You just have to read between the lines . What are any of us expecting from a mid size .....sure an extra 6 inches would be nice but I guess we will get that on the 5th gen
