Truck driver b.s.

Been there done that more than twice.

 

I'm done! It's the weekend! Was done at 4:30, 9 hours. 46 hours for the week, I like that.

 

About time what you been doing lolly gagging?

How did you have that happen?

 

They tried the old rest room for employees only.

I said Ok not a problem we will just bill you again when your freight gets delivered sometime after 2 weeks.

Before I was to the truck the manager was running after me.

 

Far to much like work !

i tried Food for about2 weeks nope back to the Flatbed or drop deck .

It was nice to be in a position to walk away from any job I did not enjoy.

 

It was for the wrecker company doing that stacking banked like 150$ for 5 hours. I was very happy that I grabbed food before I went out there tho.

 

Back to work tonight. Been gone a week. Wonder if my truck is in the shop? I give it 50/50.

 

Be careful out there tonight.

 

Winding down now and getting ready for my work week, 6 days.

 

Monday morning and having my coffee. I hate Mondays, lol. 3 years and 8 months to go.

Well my p.o.s. truck broke down in the dock today. Came out after picking up a load and the low air alarm was screaming, very low air pressure, suspension wouldn't air up and could not release the brakes. Another one of our drivers docked next to me. Unloaded and I put my load on his truck and took it to deliver it. Service is supposed to come look at it tonight. P.o.s.

 

Made it 20 yards last night. Low fuel rail pressure. Had to switch tractors.

Funny, I was just calculating the same thing yesterday. I’ve got three years , three months and 18 days should I decide to stretch it out. I could have hung it up in March had Yellow not floundered. Oh well I like the new job at least. Have a good day.
