I don’t want an effing cap. I drive a truck because I use the open bed. If I wanted a big enclosed space then I would just buy a suburban.

Have a topper on mine, plus a trailer. Real heavy awkward stuff goes on the trailer. Use it about once a week.
Think I would take a RAV4 or Highlander over a 4Runner for hauling teens, surprise how much leg room is in those.

If Toyota had the HiAce here, definitely would have that over a Tacoma.

Like the Sienna but not burly enough nor do they offer a stripped down utility trim.

Make mine the cargo version, thank gawd we don’t have any kids to haul around… :D

Wouldn't a minivan be great for hauling teens around? :boink:

    Lol!

Looked at the Mercedes Metris, like the size, drives super nice but no AWD. Probably a good thing I didn’t buy one, they quit selling them in the US market. The demographic (guys like me) is about nil.

Would serve me better than a Tacoma. Looked at the Ford Transit too, but it was well over $50K by the time you add AWD. Didnt want to spend that much. That and wasn’t crazy about their AWD system, they use rag joints on the front driveshaft.

So a Tacoma and trailer it is.

It would but it’s not going to suit my other needs. If I had endless money I would get a different vehicle for each activity. I also wouldn’t even be thinking about owning a Tacoma in the first place.

I feel like there are at least twice as many content creators as there needs to be.

Toyota should host some sort of Gladiator type shit to get the numbers down.

As long as a free family vacay is part of the agreement, I guarantee every one of those guys will attend.

I wonder if their content requires Toyota approval before publication.

I would think they can say anything except items listed in an NDA if they signed one.

Don't forget rear defrosters! That really brings the truck into the 21st century.

I love my Softopper. Covered bed when I want it (essentially all the time) and can fold it down in 2 minutes when necessary.

If you want rear legroom and technically want to stay in the midsize class, the Gladiator is the answer. Of course pretty much every inch of that legroom was added to the wheelbase and overall length of the truck. So pick your poison; there is no free lunch.

That could be why there’s the two week waiting period til they can post their info from the test drives.
