Man we have had such a dry fall it feels like it will go on forever. Found a new thing to keep me frustrated with mountain biking…..a shockwiz. Does anyone have any experience with them?

LBS has a unit they loan out, didn’t find it particularly useful. Conversation with the mechanic when I dropped shock off for service was way more beneficial but I get not everyone has that luxury or benefit.

I had my rear shock dialed in pretty well but my front fork is giving me fits. Most of my problems were caused by making too many changes at once. Apparently, the app wants you to only make one change then go ride a bunch to see how that worked but also how it affected your other tuning options.

After putting it off for a long time I finally purchased the Outbound Lighting Evo Downhill light package with their BF sale. $40 off if there was anybody else on the fence like myself.

Any first hand feedback on their warranty? I have heard great things and they champion "We warranty everything" But is that only for three years or are they still pretty cool after that. I am a big customer service guy and I am thinking about jumping in on it too

I just purchased so no warranty experience yet. Maybe others can weigh if they have had to use the warranty.

I’m sure @whitedlite will chime in, but I think they took care of him when he drove off with his lights sitting on the top of his car.

Great warranty, nice people, I have zero complaints, and they would be who I recommend to anyone who’s willing to splurge on a relatively expensive light set.

Back from the dead! New job is really cutting into my riding time along with the rain and soul sucking 4:30 darkness.

I know a few people on here have KETL brand shorts and stuff. How have they held up after some time riding on them?

Big fan, I’ve got 2 pairs of the shorts and they have held up great. I wear them for biking, hiking, and occasionally just wearing out and about.

edit: I’m probably about to wear them on a ride here in a few…I just got a new job that starts on Monday so I’m off this week, hopefully the new job doesn’t cut into riding too

So far, I'm a fan of Ketl stuff but I don't have a ton of hours on their stuff. Their shorts are really comfortable but you have to remember to pull off the metal clip before washing them (i just put them in the zipper pockets). Their socks are awesome, both the hot and cold weather versions. Their short sleeve riding shirt is nice. I tore mine up when I wrecked and they patched it up and sent it back, hassle free.

What do you mean you remove the clip? You’re talking the hook thing? Haha I just wash with that in the shorts

Speaking of shorts, Yeti stuff is on sale. It's the only time I buy Yeti clothing since they are a bit over priced the rest of the year (they are great technical gear however).

The darkness is rough! I actually was able to take off early tomorrow to squeeze in a corner canyon lap and it was tight! I had a light but dusk is a tricky time...

I have the Ketl bibs and really like them. They're showing no wear after two seasons of regular use.
