what are good leaf springs look like?

Mine are bent downwards... lower on the ends than in the middle. The truck has 131,000 miles on it, but my repair shop (who tells me whenever there is something needing taken care of) hasn;t said a word about them needing replacement, even tho I had it in for an oil change just today...

Are springs supposed to bend up or down?

Pics of healthy leaf springs would be appreciated...

So, should I get a whole new set for each side, or just add a leaf? Mine are damn near flat on drivers side and pointing downwards on the passengers.

 

Post up some pics so we can see how bad yours are. If they're really bad an AAL won't do much and new leafs would be the answer. There is a group buy on the wheelers 5 leaf pack, link in my sig.

I had the Wheeler's 4 pack replacement and it cracked also.

 

I'd love to get involved but I don't want to lift my truck at all. I liked the original height and just want a better set of leaf springs that won't sag after 5 years.

 

on wheeler's offroad, they also have a 4 leaf pack that i think add no lifts at all. if it does, its won't be too much of a difference.
