Yeah, I couldn't bring myself to be okay paying 1.5-3x the MSRP cost just to own an off-roster gun lol. Maybe if it was a specific model/limited edition but not a basic one.

I'd be embarrassed to show up at a tech inspection with a tie wrapped on master cylinder, and if it passed it's not a tech inspection.

 

I'd at least use safety wire.....

 

Just to clarify,

I absolutely would not show up to a track day tech inspection with my master cylinder zip tied lol. i felt awkward enough having them re-inspect my BMW with a bent shifter and broken windshield horn lol. While aesthetic stuff doesn't bother me too much, functionality and safety is of the utmost importance to me. Well as safe as safe can be when riding these things lol.
