    Afternoon, all

Finally got around to installing my suspension about a month ago. After install I noticed that the tophat bushing was misaligned with the tophat washer/nut. It seems to be squished out of side of the washer, pictured below.

I got the suspension pre-assembled from Mudify when I purchased the leveling kit which ultimately needed up adding about $187 to the cost.

While I plan on getting this fixed when I can, is this currently safe to drive on, and is there anyway I could fix it myself. I don't have a spring compressor or ugga dugga available.

If not, would a shop be open to reseating the bushing or would they not touch it since it was owner installed?

    Thanks!

Looks just overtightened, losen it up the nut realign and then tighten down again correctly. It's the other 3 bolts that hold the spring down ( 1 in the back that you cant see in the picture ) that you dont touch.
The top bolt has nothing too do with the spring ,it's just what holds the unit in place.

Uh, no you have that completely backwards. The 3 top hat studs just bolt the assembly to the coil bucket. That center bolt most definitely holds the shock assembly together. Either way as long as weight is on the vehicle and the lower shock bolt is in place, it can be loosened and potentially adjusted but that bushing is likely now deformed and not going to sit right but it’s worth a shot.
