Fairly inexpensive too especially with the black Friday deals.

So when you finish gluing it up and everything, how do you clean and sterilize the inside? Related, how long can water be stored in there before it becomes an issue with mold or other things like that?

I hose everything down and dry it before gluing. You can’t clean it once you glue it together. I don’t plan to use it for drinking, only washing or showering. I have no idea how long before mold will build up since there’s no way to know.

I don’t store water in it for a long period of time. After each camping trip I empty it and leave the valve open so the inside can air dry as much as possible. Once in a while I’ll add vinegar mix with water and drive around for a few days to sterilize & clean? Chlorine and bleach will break down the plastic so I don’t recommend it.

If you park under the sun until the evening or sunset, the water is warm to shower which is pretty nice.

That makes total sense (and now I understand why you painted it black). I was considering making one for drinking water (as well as hand washing or whatever) for weekend camping trips. I figured my house is all PVC, what's the difference? :)

    Tnx for the clarification.

This thing is made with ABS, much stronger then PVC. I wouldn’t drink from this unless emergency. Just get a few case of drinking water for cooking/drinking to be on the safe side.

Successfully 3D printed round switch holders with ABS filament. No need to drill into the console or blank switches for seat warmers.

Installed my experimental designs anytime locker mod today. I didn't tap the one wire into the traction control harness because I hate the idea of that. Works perfectly fine without it, just have to turn traction control off how you normally would.

I mounted the indicator light into one of the blank switch panels in the middle. Now my taco works the same as my old colorado zr2, I'm happy.

I’d like to get something like this for my tractor and implements. Could it be built over a gravel pad? Would be useful for working on the tractor, thus leaving the Taco in the garage.

Nice. I may eventually do this also as I hate that it only works in 4Lo. . . . so stupid.

I’d like a DMM but I can’t help but think thieves might target a vehicle with a DMM thinking there’s a bunch of tech in there out of sight. Think iPad, GoPro, GPS, etc. Not worried about parking at home (garage) but at hotels and restaurants. Criminals suck.

You could always remove the ball mounts before locking up? I don’t usually leave anything of value in my vehicles overnight anyways.

    Stock. For now.
Added a cool dent behind the passenger side rear tire today. Pretty excited about it.

and yes, I see the parking “appears” to be crooked. This is after I pulled back into the spot after having realized what happened. Damn back-up camera. Never trusting the friggen thing again. Normally don’t use it much, but it allowed me to see possible traffic that I couldn’t see otherwise. Neglected my mirrors on this one. 100% avoidable by me. Dodge ram bumper 1 - Tacoma 0

Bummer. But let me be the first...

For what it’s worth, PVC doesn’t mind a bit of bleach, it’s already “chlorinated” at a molecular level.

Damn! That sucks. I know what you mean about not using the camera much other than checking for traffic. I prefer using the mirrors mostly. Hope you get it fixed soon.
