Well that's perfect haha. Explains perfectly. I wonder if I'd get the same result piecing together my own kit (my 4runner is the 4.7 V8 not the 4.0 so that kit won't be bolt on). PSC sells a generic 1500psi pump for $275 and a generic fluid reservoir for $275

Just bite the bullet and do the JDFab setup. It is worth it. Bear in mind it will take a couple weeks to get used to it. It becomes one finger driving.

Do I just email the shop or is there a generic manufacturer/part number out there for either the standard bushing or the uniball pivots? I don't see them on the JD Fab website and I'm in Canada so shipping can be a little tricky

The issue is I don't have a V6 Tacoma to make it all fit. I have a V8 4runner lol

Thats cool I guess. But these lower EMF are still fucked and I was told way back in Aug/Sept I'd be getting replacements sent. So who knows at this point.

I ended up parking my truck for the year because of more EMF issues myself. Not about to tear this thing up because of a total failure. I’ve been frustrated with these things for a year now. Mine are at the point where the caps are backing out turning the steering wheel. Set screw isn’t doing shit anymore. Even though I lock them down tight.

Mine apparently have the wrong caps? So they are to short or something and just are tearing up the balls? Idk I was told way back by EMF and JD I’d be getting the proper replacements. I just barely got the correct bump mounts for the rear. JD makes good stuff. But actually getting it seems to be the issue.

Not sure what you are talking about, I personally sent you a new set of EMF’s a few months ago.

One thing I think we all need to keep in mind to an extent, is the timeline we bought kits. Mine was right at the tail end of the China flu. As we all know, or at least should. QC dropped even with top tier companies. Hell, people were even ordering certain alloys that turned out to not be what they ordered. This doesn’t really fall on JD. Though I do believe uniballs should have always been an option. As they are stronger, cheaper and more readily available.

    Whole lotta stuff
I’m looking forward to the uniball conversion. For as much stuff needs to be maintained on this truck I don’t mind having to coat the uniballs with dry lube frequently.

I only adjusted the ones that were already in there. We said we’d do the swap after thanksgiving during koh prep.

Wanted to show you guys the new shock relocation/bump stop kit for guys running spring over setups. The kit works with 12” or 14” shocks, has a backing plate that’s welded to the frame so the powder coated parts can bolt up and it does not require any cutting into the bed.

Will it work with triple bypasses w remote resis?
