What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Installed my experimental designs anytime locker mod today. I didn't tap the one wire into the traction control harness because I hate the idea of that. Works perfectly fine without it, just have to turn traction control off how you normally would.

I mounted the indicator light into one of the blank switch panels in the middle. Now my taco works the same as my old colorado zr2, I'm happy.

 

I’d like to get something like this for my tractor and implements. Could it be built over a gravel pad? Would be useful for working on the tractor, thus leaving the Taco in the garage.

 

Nice. I may eventually do this also as I hate that it only works in 4Lo. . . . so stupid.

 

I’d like a DMM but I can’t help but think thieves might target a vehicle with a DMM thinking there’s a bunch of tech in there out of sight. Think iPad, GoPro, GPS, etc. Not worried about parking at home (garage) but at hotels and restaurants. Criminals suck.

 

You could always remove the ball mounts before locking up? I don’t usually leave anything of value in my vehicles overnight anyways.

 

Added a cool dent behind the passenger side rear tire today. Pretty excited about it.

and yes, I see the parking “appears” to be crooked. This is after I pulled back into the spot after having realized what happened. Damn back-up camera. Never trusting the friggen thing again. Normally don’t use it much, but it allowed me to see possible traffic that I couldn’t see otherwise. Neglected my mirrors on this one. 100% avoidable by me. Dodge ram bumper 1 - Tacoma 0

For what it’s worth, PVC doesn’t mind a bit of bleach, it’s already “chlorinated” at a molecular level.

 

Damn! That sucks. I know what you mean about not using the camera much other than checking for traffic. I prefer using the mirrors mostly. Hope you get it fixed soon.

 

Yeah, not quite the size of a football and all the visible paint it crack free. Just not sure what it looks like under the fender trim. Not seeing any “creases” in the bedside. Hoping for a clean fix. Buuuuut……options could be a high clearance bumper depending on repair cost. Convincing the wife will be the hard part.

 

We really need a sad face option for these posts. I just can't "like" them. Sorry about that.

Need help-
Took my truck in for body work, which required them to temporarily remove front grill assembly. Upon reinstalling they couldnt calibrate front collision sensor and lane departure. Dash is lit up like a Christmas tree. Any suggestions?
I have a OME 2in lift.

 

Yeah, sliders wouldn’t have helped me here. They were on the short list, but this dent has rearranged my list a bit.

 

You can disinfect it with bleach and water which will make it so you can drink it.

 

Took advantage of some warm weather (for November anyway) to install tailgate letter inserts, Screen Protech on the interior, and do an Adam’s Graphene ceramic. Need to take pictures of it but all turned out well.

Well, Matt (@BlessdApparel1) did the install.

BAMF Hybrid bumper (@JLee) with full bash plates, Warn VR EVO 10S, Factor 55 fairlead and Flatlink.

Only issue was the Black Oak LED lightbar I bought is too big to fit. Looks like a Baja Designs is in the works.
