    Almost fell off a truck or smacked my face off the floor board on a rusty semi today. The tank straps that held the steps on were all rusted out on a truck that we sold in the last sale. When I stepped on it it gave out and thankfully my foot on the door sill and hand on the steering wheel caught me.

    I guess a coworker stepped on it and felt that it was crunching so he got off before it broke. He then neglected to tell the rest of us that this truck has a bad step :frusty:

    Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
    Ran into a former co-worker yesterday. He asked me WTH is going on back at the terminal. I said, I don't know, what are you talking about. Then he says he heard our office manager got fired. I hadn't heard anything, so I texted a couple of guys. Yup, they walked her out the door last Wed. Explains why I hadn't seen her around...I don't pay much attention to the office politics, I'd just as soon get through the next 90 working days with as little drama as possible.

    Well, this afternoon, I get a text that our terminal manager resigned at noon today. Odd, as he was planning on retiring late spring. Then I heard that the regional VP out of Chicago is going to be up tomorrow. WTabsoluteF?! Sounds like tomorrow is going to be interesting, almost everyone seemed to be on edge when I left.

    Retiring Jan 1 isn't absolutely out of the question.

    Water truck accident yesterday, driver didn’t make it. Heard he was new and just started with the company. Don’t know what kind of malfunction truck had but the job site is up on the hillside above that highway.
