I stashed the stuff in @gwynso4 's overnight, and ended up with a hitchhiker when I loaded the truck this afternoon. He (or she) darted to the back of the truck, jumped off the tailgate, and disappeared into the scrap pile...

 

The Christmas lights are coming along nicely! I had the truck out on the road earlier tonight and it passed two tests...

• Passing a marked police car with the lights on and not getting pulled over (though I didn't have the hood lights on yet)!
• 60+ MPH on 611 and none of the lights came off!

 

Symmetry!

You've probably spent more on gas, than the truck cost new.
Crazy. But that's how it goes.

 

Keep in mind that the truck was a gift...

I destroyed $30 worth of Christmas lights today when I loaded a box spring in the truck, so I'm not scrapping again until after the holidays...

 

@Gwyns04 alerted me to the presence of this thing next to a dumpster at the Dairy Queen on Route 611 in Pipersville; I think it's an oven of some sort...

 

These lights worked for one night and then they shit the bed, so I scrapped them...

 

@Stitchgirl90 also found these in the basement of the townhouse, but they don't work; I scrapped them...

Do yourself a favor, don't even take them out of the box. Just throw them away now. Those type are a royal pain in the ass to untangle.
I don't untangle anything these days. I don't even decorate.

 

Nope, but l found some automotive lights today with a Hills or Ames sticker on it.
