2019. I get FF every year. There is no rust anywhere. I live in MD. Very pleased since I plan on running this truck for many years.

My 19 has been fluid filmed, wool waxed, or Surface Shield protected every fall before the first snow. Protect it, or it will rot. The Mfgr's are not in the business of making vehicles last long, they are in the business of selling units. think about that, when you spend 40-50k or more on new, then just pray, you washing it once in a while, will keep it looking new. Woolwax every November for me. I have a few rust spots to touch up every year, but very few and far between. Probably spots I missed or where it is easily washed off.

Just rolled around under my 2016 with the Fluid Film gun. Makes a mess but way better than rust I see under my neighbors vehicle. MD doesn't have bad winters but they sure spread the salt brine any chance they can.

I have used crc with no rust. Easy spray on. I figured if it’s good for marine protection it will work and has. Others chose FF all works just chose one.

I applied wool wax two weeks ago, the dogs on my street were all sniffing around my truck…. peeing on the wheels.
Make sure you get a wand and spray inside the frame rails up front where it is boxed. If you pull the plastic caps off and look inside you’ll see Toyota wasn’t very generous applying rust inhibitor.

After using the big air compressor and gun I switch to a rattle can to hit the under hood components and up inside the doors through the drain holes. Every few years I remove the tailgate liner and hit inside the tailgate. This 2016 Tacoma is my only new car purchase and after fighting rust on a few older vehicles I'm determined to avoid it completely.

I did fluid film a few days after buying my 23. It will likely not see much use this winter, but better safe than sorry. It'll be my daily come June 2024, and here in the land of salt and brine, I'm hoping it makes a big difference.

Curious, I live in the south, 45 mins north of Atlanta GA. Is something like this needed for us? Or can I just spray a lubricant (WD40?) or CG Bare Bones Undercarriage to protect and prevent rust?
