Besides around town we go to Sacramento area the most. Charge to 100% at home before leaving and get there with around 40-50% charge left (once you get to the top of Donner Pass you don’t use any battery to Sacramento). Coming back charge up to 80% in Rocklin or Auburn which takes about 30 minutes and we usually get home with about 15-20% left. You use a lot more coming back from Sac. Charging in Rocklin or Auburn it’s like $15-20.

I hate driving Ev's at work if they have the one pedal drive enabled. Every time I let off the gas and the car jerks to slow down I feel stupid. That and the cars that put the climate controls in the headunit instead of just a hard button. When its 20 degrees at night or 100 degrees in the summer and I hop in a car I want that thing to start heating up or cooling down asap. my truck could use carplay, a heated steering wheel, and a power drivers seat and then it would have all the tech I ever need in a vehicle.

Does anyone have some of these laying around after installing their skid plates?

Wife wants to sell her truck so I want to steal my old skid off it before it’s gone, but don’t want to sell it without having the supports back on

Not every hunt is a winner. Pretty warm for a late season. Lots of does and small bucks, just nothing the hunter was looking for...
And I only broke the grill and the fan shroud, so not too bad.

Kind of a weird question but anyone know where I can buy some 100LL AVgas around Reno? Truckee airport can't and none of the smaller airports answer their phones lol

Probably at Reno/Tahoe Intl Airport or even CC Airport, not sure how buying it works there though. At the small airport near me in Fallon you just drive up and the 100LL is self serve.

That's awesome. Worst comes to worse I drive to Fallon.

Fallon's a solid drive from your neck of the woods, I'd first try the Minden Airport and Silver Springs Airport as well if you haven't already. Pretty sure both also have self serve 100LL, really pretty common for smaller airports to be like that.

I finally got ahold of Carson City airport and they sell 100LL to the public. Thanks for your replies!

Minden airport does it too. Not sure what you need avgas for, but the Golden Gate by Walmart in Gardnerville has unleaded 100 octane pumps as well.

I have a turbo snowmobile that needs a mix of 91 and 100LL. I'll keep that location in mind as well. Thank you

Wonder if I can get enough deflection if I put a 10,000lb ratchet strap pulling the posts on the car toward each other and my hi-lift on the roll bar pushing the rear supports apart or if that's just asking to take a trip to the ER

It's not as bad as the picture looks...maybe just a bit of a bevel with a paddle wheel and strip some of the powder coating...I'm going inside before I break out the angle grinder and do something I'll regret and hoping someone can come up with a better idea.

Honestly either the strap pinching or a hilift spreading will likely do the trick. I doubt both would be needed in conjunction. I'd try the strap route first.

The strap route was just enough to line everything up and it seemed the least sketchy. I'm glad I put it on pause last night...I was at that point where I was going to end up damaging something just trying to make it fit.

Definitely good to have the mental clarity from coming back later when something hasn't been going your way and frustration has began to build. Good call stepping back and coming in fresh the next day.
